چکیده
A 70-day feeding trial was performed to assess the effect of a mixture functional feed supplements (FFS; contains encapsulated cinnamaldehyde, condensed tannins, capsaicin, piperine, and curcumin) during mid-lactation on milk production composition, intake, blood profile multiparous dairy cows. Sixty Holstein cows (116.1 ± 17.1 days in milk, 606 9.3 kg BW, 45.73 6.7 kg/d production) were distributed into two groups: control (CON: n = 30), which received basal diet; FFS (n 30) treatment, diet fortified with at rate 35 g/day/head. The results revealed that daily (p 0.01) solids-not-fat yield 0.05) significantly higher had compared group. The objective of the present study was to determine the effect of substitution of corn grain with dried citrus pulp (DCP) on milk composition, fatty acids profiles and blood metabolites in Holstein dairy cows. These parameters were measured in a replicated 4 × 4 latin square design experiment using eight Holstein cows. Each experimental period lasted 4 weeks. The four treatments were: control (...

Influence of Condensed Tannins from Ficus bengalensis Leaves on Feed Utilization, Milk Production and Antioxidant Status of Crossbred Cows
This study was conducted to examine the effects of condensed tannins (CT) from Ficus bengalensis leaves on the feed utilization, milk production and health status of crossbred cows. Eighteen crossbred dairy cows at their second and mid lactation (avg. BW 351.6±10.6 kg) were randomly divided into two groups of nine each in a completely randomized block design and fed two iso-nitrogenous suppleme...
